Vintage M-51 Woodland Camouflage Military Fishtail Parka

The jacket is fantastic. I purchased both the medium and the large sizes. I am 5'8" and 175 lbs...not broad...not round. Both sizes will work for my build. The medium fits just right (on my build) for use over anything from a t-shirt to a sweater/sweatshirt. It is a long parka. This thing goes down to my knees and the tail in the rear is even lower. But the medium looks neat. The large is even roomier and longer. This is the longest parka style jacket that I own. The large will be worn as an over-garment. The length may be too long otherwise. The tag states that this parka is to be paired with and over a M-65 or equivalent for extreme cold weather. Pairing the parka with a size large M-65 in this way lifts the parka and bulks it up...it is like a bigger guy is wearing it. It makes the length look neater for my height. The original design makes sense. THIS IS NEAR FULL CAMO COVER IN ONE GARMENT...but the coolest camo I have purchased!
