Once obtained, your letter or certificate may be faxed to us at 313-565-4530 or submitted via our contact form. These are processed within 1 weekday unless we need to contact you regarding a problem. If you believe you have already filed your letter of tax exemption or tax exemption certificate with us, and your online purchase is still being taxed, please check that you are logging in to the correct, tax exempt account. If this doesn't solve your issue, please contact us so we can get this corrected.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Only accounts in the agency, business or organization's name qualify for tax exempt status. Businesses only qualify for exemptions if the product is being purchased for resale. Business, agency or organization email addresses must be associated with your online account and orders cannot be sent to home addresses. If the agency/organization/business name is not entered onto your online account, your request for tax exemption will be denied.
