A tough, American made work boot with classic style, the Thorogood 6-Inch Black Steel Toe Moc Wedge is ready to get the job done. Built on Thorogood's exlcusive MAXWear Wedge outsoles, these work boots feature the lightweight flexbility and surface contact of traditional wedge soles favored by carpenters and ironworkers, but are enhanced with a 20-30 percent longer lifespan. A wedge outsole is for the most part flat and does not include a heel, which puts less stress on your foot and allows you to reposition more easily and safely without fear of a heel getting caught on something. Made of rugged oil-tanned leather with Goodyear storm welt construction, these work boots are extremely durable as well flexible. Due to the sole being sewn to the upper rather than glued, a Goodyear welt provides a more reinforced design and extends the overall life of the boot by allowing the sole to be recrafted multiple times.

This work boot also features a steel toe for solid protection, slip-resistance for stability on hazardous surfaces, and an electrical hazard rating. And to help reduce the soreness and strain of long shifts on your feet, removable dual-density Ultimate Shock Absorbing footbeds on Poron 4000 comfort cushion insoles.
