ECWCS Gen III Level II Thermal Grid Fleece Crew Top

This Gen 3 Level 2 ECWCS thermal shirt offers ample warmth, comfort and durability as an overshirt to brave the cold weather months. The third generation of the ECWCS is known as the "Extreme Climate Warfighter Clothing System", and is the most recent utilized by the United States Armed Forces. In this radical redesign of the system, there are a total of seven layers that provide environmental protection in temperatures ranging from -60/+40 degrees Fahrenheit. This thermal shirt comprises Level 2.

This level of thermal weight is ideal for low activity in below freezing temperatures like shoveling snow, ice fishing or hunting to give a few examples. The soft grid fleece not only feels great against your skin, but also grants moisture wicking and odor control benefits that ensure you stay warm and fresh without overheating. The thermal underwear shirt features a crew neck with a fuller cut compared to similar products for a little extra room to move around, along with elastic wrist cuffs for shape retention and integrated thumbholes to keep the sleeves from riding up when putting on a jacket.
