To achieve this, Danner scrapped the traditional heavy shank and lasting board combo in favor of a single, integrated bi-fit stability board. The underfoot support that you remember is still there, except now you also have a higher degree of forefoot flex which grants better comfort and mobility. On top of that, a Vibram 360 outsole offers outstanding edging and traction, while an open-cell Ortholite footbed provides plush support and cushioning in addition to improved underfoot air circulation for blister reduction.
