Should you have to wade through rivers of streams, a Gore-Tex waterproof breathable lining locks water out while allowing moisture to escape to ensure that your socks don't get soggy. The Desert is built upon the Danner TFX-8 platform which features cross-stitch design for durability and stability in the toe and heel pivot zones, allowing you to immediately change directions when you need to without losing stability.
