I normally wear a women's 8.5 in US sizing. All the information I referred to recommended a size 7 in men's but I found them to be too big. I exchanged them for a size 6 and they fit perfectly. I did see some people saying Corcoran's ran large so perhaps that's true. I discovered these boots through Ghostbusters costuming (sadly the 995s are discontinued), but I wear them for normal wear on a weekly basis and I find them to be very comfortable. I expect I'll be wearing these for many years to come.

Corcoran makes the best boot. The fact that they carry wide and extra wide sizes is great for me. I have been wearing them since the 80's. I usually get them resoled several times as the boot outlasts the soles many times over. I am on my 6th pair. I had a career in the military and am now an ordained deacon. I am still in service; I just have a different commander. I wear my boots under my liturgical vestments for Mass and plan on being buried in them.
