Bought one of these several years (~3) ago. Carry to work +5 days a week. It's lasted longer than most other backpacks I've used, but not quite as long as I expected for the price. Pros - spacious, lots of attachment points, many pockets, roomy laptop compartment, sturdy & well-padded shoulder and waist belts, heavy cloth Cons -Weak thread/sewing-laptop compartment zipper pulled out, one compression strap has detached, top-load laptop compartment would be more rugged and convenient, side water bottle pockets would be more useful with bungee cord closures to hold bottles.

I like to overall bag, but the carry handle should be designed into the shoulder straps, it should attached to the body of the bag.

First inspection the design is good. The waist belt can be completely removed a +. Bad points, material. Medium weight canvas that is water repellant but NOT waterproof, especially around the zippers. Overall good marks for design and workmanship.

This is an excellent pack! The pockets all have internal pockets within them that allow for natural sorting of gear and are more spacious than what the picture reflects. This bag is very well made and durable.
