The Carolina CA5521 Work Boots feature a 6-inch dark brown leather upper with lace-up styling and a padded collar. Inside of this Carolina boot, you will find a 100 percent waterproof membrane, called a Scubaliner and 400-grams of Thinsulate insulation. Thinsulate uses microfibers to trap dead air but the fibers do not absorb water. This helps to keep your feet warm even in damp conditions. The removable polyurethane AG7 footbed provides enhanced arch support and has a patented moisture management system built right in to help wick moisture away from your foot. The Pillow Cushion insole gives you a thick layer of memory foam that surrounds your foot in all-day comfort. If that isn't enough comfort and support, the CA 5521 Work Boots also have an EVA midsole and a lightweight non-metallic shank.

The slip-resistant rubber outsole will give you traction on a variety of surfaces. The non-metallic composite toe meets the ASTM standards for impact protection.
