Since the amount of drop featured on this boot is considered a low drop athletic fit, it promotes more fluid foot movement and precise heel strikes which serve to help reduce the risk of injury when engaged in on-foot pursuits. Unlike minimalist shoes, the Rush Shield provides substantial cushioning and rebound via shock-absorbing Strobel foam construction, an EVA midsole and contoured footbed.
