24-Inch Canvas Military Duffle Bag

I had an old canvas shoulder bag that had been around the world with me many times. I bought it many many many years ago at an old Army / Navy Surplus store. It was wearing out and had holes in it. It was an old friend I had a hard time parting with, but the time had come. I had considered buying canvas and trying to duplicate it but found Harryís had one almost exactly like it. I ordered the 24X12 but found that a little to big, so I ordered the next size smaller which was 19X9. That was a little to small, but I kept both bags, so now Iím ready to travel the world again with my new bags for many more years to come.

I wanted a heavy duty black canvas bag for my son, big enough to lug around his soccer stuff...ball, cleats, extra clothes, etc. This fits the bill perfectly. He also loves the canvas because he's a metal head and wants to sew band patches on it. So, this fit his needs and seems to be of great quality so far!

I think these bags are very nice although not as heavy duty as my military duffel bag. Not bad for the price though.

Ordered two of these bags for an upcoming trail ride where baggage is limited. These will work perfect for the trip, terrain, and expected weather.

Good bag and able to use for overnight/weekend trips. Looks to be well made and no issues with the construction/materials. Just what I was looking for.
